Hi, My name is PJ, and today I’m going to be showing you how to assemble
the Lazerlite Tonneau Cover.

We’re going to start by assembling the front bracket. You’re going to take
your L bracket and this L bracket. Taking your 1/4 inch bolts, you want to
make sure that the flat head is on the outside of the bracket. Then just
take your nylon nut and just tighten it down. Right now, you’re just going
to leave these hand tight.

Next, I’m going to go ahead and put it on the two bolts that are already in
the cover, making sure the L is facing in.

On all the covers you want to make sure that, depending on the vehicle you
have, that either the edge of the bracket is flush. In this case, being
that this has a little indention, we’re actually going to go to the second
location. Making sure that the bracket is flush and square, you go back
using a 7/16th and just tighten down the main bracket. Then after those two
are tight, then you go and tighten up the three.

Next, we’re moving to the ball stud mount. Make sure that ball stud is
facing out. Put it on and use your nylon nuts.

On the latch, the same purpose, but right now, we’re going to keep this one
just finger tight, so we can adjust it to the proper location when we put
the cover on the truck. You’re going to go and do the same three steps on
the other side, and that completes the installation of the brackets.

Next, we’ll move on to the trim. We’re going to put the trim piece along
the edge of the cover, starting at the front center. We’re just going to
push it on and then go all the way around. Now, in some cases, the bracket
will be sitting against the cover, so you might have to lift up just enough
to get the trim underneath it to go on properly. Then you’ll just continue
around. Then after you finish putting the trim around, come to the end.
Take a pair of scissors or a knife and just cut her off. Finish putting it
on.

Now we’ll go to the bulb seal. On the bulb seal, we’re going to go all the
way around again. You want to put it about 1/4 inch in away from the trim
that we just put on, again, starting from the front center. Then do about
12 inch intervals. That way you make sure you have a straight line. No when
you get to the bracket, you want to make sure you try to get it as tight as
possible into that crevice, and then fold it over top, and you’re just
going to go right across it. Then again, just take your scissors, and cut
it about 1/8th of an inch more than you need. That way you can actually
push it back in. You’ll get a nice tight seal between the two.

That completes the assembly of the Lazerlite. Thank you for joining me and
have a great day.
