The Bakflip Tonneau Covers are considered a very secure tonneau cover. They’re taking it to a new level. Bak has added an alarm system with a key fob to arm the bed of your truck. This alarm system is not promoted yet and we’re not sure of the cost. It looks like this Bak alarm system will be called the Bak TonneauGuard.
With the Bakflip covers, the security is found in the tailgate lock. If your tailgate does not have a lock, a Pop N Lock aftermarket tailgate lock would be a ‘must have’ item.
As you can tell, the alarm system is piercing and would be a great trick to play on friends and family.
